ANTYCIP SIMULATION AND MASA GROUP IN STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP
Antycip Simulation to distribute and support SWORD as European distributor
Paris, France, 14 December, 2009 – Antycip Simulation Ltd, a subsidiary of ST Electronics (Training & Simulation Systems) Pte Ltd, today announced the signature of a distribution agreement with MASA Group, the developer of SWORD.
The MASA Group, which provides advanced simulation software solutions, leveraging unique proprietary artificial intelligence (AI) engines, is headquartered in Paris, France.
SWORD is a constructive simulation, commercial off-the-shelf software that mitigates risk associated with specific development. SWORD is an easy-to-use and versatile solution, that can be operated on a laptop for analysis and self-training purposes, drive crisis management exercises, be deployed in full-scale server-based training centres or be connected to Command and Control (C2) systems.
SWORD supports battle labs in managing doctrine and equipment analysis and Staff College for training. Its use for modelling and simulation of actors' behaviours accurately represents military operation theatre at brigade and division levels as well as for operational experts involved with local authority and defence operational crisis cells.
Antycip Simulation’s representation of the MASA Group in Europe includes Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Latvia, The Netherlands, Norway, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
“We are pleased to bring to our customers the support of MASA SWORD throughout Europe. Antycip Simulation constantly improves its offer in terms of provision of integrated solutions. With SWORD, the cost of each exercise is expected to decrease as a lower number of operators are needed to manage simulations. By developing our collaboration with the MASA Group in Europe, our company is achieving its mission to provide innovative solutions to our customers.”
~ Michel PRONIER,
CEO, Antycip Simulation
“We have been working with the MASA Group for some time now and wanted our customers to benefit from our support of SWORD in Europe as SWORD is ideal for some of our customers and a good complement of VT MÄK’s CGF VR-Forces.”
~ Gaël RAMAEN,
European Marketing Development Manager, Antycip Simulation
“We are delighted that Antycip Simulation chose MASA as a strategic partner. The MASA Group is proud that its COTS product SWORD, has been selected by the European leader in the provision of independent modelling and simulation COTS application. Through this alliance we will strengthen our market presence since Antycip Simulation has been very well established in both the civil and in the military simulation industry in Europe for many years.”
~ Nicolas DE BELILOVSKY,
Managing Director, MASA
