Antycip Simulation to supply and integrate the Mersive autocalibration warping and blending system for VTI’s simulator

Gothenburg, April 20, 2009 – Antycip Simulation Ltd (Antycip Simulation), a subsidiary of ST Electronics (Training & Simulation Systems) Pte Ltd, today announced that it has been awarded a contract by VTI, Swedish National Road and Transport Research Institute, to upgrade their existing driving simulator projection system.

VTI is an independent and internationally prominent research institute in the Swedish transport sector. With about 190 employees it is the largest research organisation for transport environment in Sweden.Antycip Simulation provide Mersive to VTI for driving simulation use

VTI selected the Mersive Sol Server technology for the upgrade of one of its existing driving simulators. The Mersive Sol Server technology delivers sub-pixel accuracy, zero external latency and true auto-calibration features for a Continuous Quality™ display.   It allows for quick integration with VTI’s OpenSceneGraph (OSG) based applications, used for both driving and train simulation.
